Does the client need to supply any cleaning equipment or products?

We provide all equipment and cleaning supplies.

Should the client be present for the cleaning work?

It is not necessary to be home during the cleaning. If the client is out of town prior arrangements can be made re: keys pick up and drop off.

Does working on weekends incur an extra charge?

Working on weekends does not incur an additional charge. We recommend early booking.

How do you charge?

A fixed rate is quoted. Cleaning quotes are binding and are estimated according to the clients requirements.

For example this would take into account:

size of the property
number of bedrooms
size and condition of kitchen,
condition of walls and doors
how many wooden blinds, venetian blinds to be cleaned
if the property is furnished or unfurnished, contained or not contained with crockery, cutlery, saucepans etc.

We make a careful estimation of the work to be done and guarantee excellent standard of finish to ensure the return of your bond.

Is there a bond return guarantee?

Our vacate cleaning comes with a guarantee. The Guarantee includes what we have agreed to clean as part of the quote. If washing of walls has been quoted over the phone it means we have quoted for walls in reasonable and fair condition and covers a basic wall wash, meaning we wash the walls one time only. If washing of walls are not included in the price, then walls are not guaranteed.

If extra work is required on walls then this needs to be requested as part of the clean in advance and priced accordingly. eg. lots of spot cleaning, removal of wax, blue tack, stickers, glues, crayons/pens, paints, mouldy walls, food stuck to walls or heavy stains on walls (things that need more than normal cleaning). Damaged walls are not guaranteed. If your oven needs more than 1 oven spray to remove heavy baked on grease it will not be included in the guarantee unless agreed on in advance and priced accordingly.

We will not pull out gas stoves from the wall to clean behind and/or under, except if we feel it is totally safe to do so.

Should there be extra rooms, balconies, verandas, patios, outside window ledges, furniture, built- in furniture units, white goods, blinds, louvre windows, utensils or any other special requests that were not included in the original cleaning quote, then the price will need to be adjusted to include these items, or the guarantee will be void. Fans and lights that cannot be reached by a normal house hold step ladder (4 steps) will not be covered by the guarantee.

The guarantee expires after 7 (seven) days – please note NO EXCEPTIONS

How can I make payment?

We accept cash, visa card, master card.

If an invoice is to be forwarded to the client, banking details are provided on the invoice.

It is our policy that payment is due the day services are provided or if invoiced, prior to the work beginning, by either EFT  or credit card.    We cannot commence work until payment is received.

What if I have to cancel?

There is no cancellation fee, however we trust that you will let us know asap or at least 3 (three) days before appointment. If the job is cancelled within the 3 days prior to the cleaning there will be a cancellation fee applied, which the client will have to pay by credit card.
